OYO JUNCTION IMPROVEMENTS: AKIN FAGBEMI EXTOLLED BY ISMAILA ASHIPA

A leader of the People's Democratic Party in Oyo State from Ibadan North Local Government precisely, who is also an Elder Statesman, Alh. Ismaila Osuolale Ashipa has showered encomiums, in a statement captioned below, on the boss of the Oyo State Road & Traffic Maintenance Agency, Mógàjí (Dr.) Akin FAGBEMI for meritoriously providing sanity to congested areas of the State Capital.

JUNCTION IMPROVEMENT.
As brief as I am always on social media, let me first observe that since after the election cum Ramadan festivities, only three departments of government have been active. The Governor's Office; the Ministry of Information and the OYRTMA led by Mogaji Akin Fagbemi.
I was at Gengere Area of Sabo, Ibadan yesterday. I never believed that the road from the under flyover, Sabo, could be so decongested to ensure free flow of traffic. The Sabo junctions were cleared by very able cadets of the OYRTMA as led by their indefatigable chairman Akin Fagbemi.
Visit Sabo area of Ibadan today and see the clean environment. The invasion of lawless okada operators are no more. The obstructive double parkings by the Sabo wannabes are now of the past. I pray the OYRTMA and her chairman, Akin Fagbemi, would be able to sustain this free flow of traffic in Sabo and other traffic congested areas in Ibadan.
Kudos to OYRTMA under Mogaji Akin Fagbemi. If this is one of the packages in the Sustainable Developments in Oyo state as promised by His Excellency, Engr Seyi Makinde, in his proposed Omititun 2.0, Oyo state is prepared for the better.
Dr Fagbemi, charity begins st home. May I seize this opportunity to remind you of the hourly traffic jams experienced at Oje junction. The narrow road leading from Saint Paul's Church to Oje could take more than an hour to navigate. The junctions around Oje market have been turned into parking lots by commercial buses and okada operators. The worst of it is that some PMS branch heads have approved kiosks for 'akara hawkers' right at the junctions. I dont know what instruments of government gave them such powers.
There are other traffic blocked junctions in ibadan too numerous to mention. I pray the OYRTMA under your leadership would vigorously address this issue of junction improvement.
