NASS APPOINTMENT: SENATE'S DEPUTY MINORITY LEADER, AKOGUN LERE OYEWUMI PENS A LETTER OF APPRECIATION

Senator Lere Oyewumi, the Deputy Minority Leader of the Nigerian Senate 

The Senator representing Osun West Senatorial District at the 10th National Assembly, AKOGUN LERE OYEWUMI has penned a letter of Appreciation after he was announced as the New Deputy Minority Leader of the House of Senate.

The announcement was made after the House of Senate reconvened since going on break for the Eid-El-Kabir Holidays. His Message Read:

"It is with utmost humility and a great sense of responsibility that I express my deepest appreciation for this honor to be elected as the Deputy Minority Leader of the 10th Senate today 4th July 2023.

"The call to serve the nation in this capacity is one I am truly grateful for and will forever cherish.


"I would like to thank the good people of Osun West Senatorial District who have reposed their trust in me by electing me to the Senate. It is your unwavering support that has brought me to this position today. As I take on this responsibility, I promise to uphold your trust and work tirelessly to fulfill the responsibilities that come with being your Representative at the Red Chamber, as well as the Deputy Minority Leader of the 10th Senate.


"It is therefore important to acknowledge and appreciate the important role played by an achiever per excellence and philanthropist Dr. Deji Adeleke and the people's Governor Senator Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke for their support always. I will forever grateful 


"Let me once again express my heartfelt gratitude to every one of you for bestowing upon me this incredible honor. I am profoundly grateful for the responsibilities of this new office, and I promise to serve with utmost dedication, integrity, and humility.
