Oluwaseun Olufade, held his first security meeting today, June 5, 2024. Hon. Olufade, who was sworn in on May 24 and officially resumed office on May 27, convened the meeting to familiarize himself with key security stakeholders in the local government and to discuss pertinent security issues. The meeting, which took place at the chairman's office, brought together representatives from various security agencies, including the Police, Immigration, Customs, NSCDC, NDLEA, Amotekun, Operation Burst, DSS, and FRSC.
