Today, myriads of friends and family join in celebrating the birthday of a remarkable public servant, Hon. Bisi Oluranti Oyewo-Michael (Hon. BOOM), the esteemed Representative of Ogbomoso North Constituency at the Oyo State House of Assembly.

Hon. Olusoji Olusegun Alade SOJ, CIC, the Champion of Ibadan Culture, a friend to Hon. BOOM, had this to say in a congratulatory message: "Happy birthday to my dear sister, friend, and "in-law" , Hon. BOOM. You are a real woman, without any pretence, and your dedication to public service is truly inspiring. Your constituents are fortunate to have you as their representative, and I pray that God continues to guide and bless you in all your endeavors."

According to Hon. SOJ, Hon. BOOM's passion for service and compassion for the people are qualities that set her apart. "Your passion for service and your compassion for the people are qualities that set you apart," he noted. "I pray that God grants you many more years of good health, prosperity, and success."

Hon. SOJ further described Hon. BOOM as a shining star in the Oyo State House of Assembly, saying, "You are a shining star in the Oyo State House of Assembly. Your dedication, hard work, and commitment to the people are an inspiration to us all."

The birthday message concluded with Hon. SOJ wishing Hon. BOOM all the happiness, joy, and blessings that life has to offer. "May your birthday be a celebration of life, love, and laughter. May your path be lit with God's guidance, and may your heart be filled with peace and contentment."

Hon. SOJ prayed that God blesses Hon. BOOM abundantly and grants her many more years of life, prosperity, and success. "May God bless you abundantly and grant you many more years of life, prosperity, and success," he said.

Just In: (Pictorial) Tragedy Strikes Ibadan || Police Stray Bullet Claims Life of 17-Year-Old Student Published by Samuel Toba-Olumide   Ibadan, Oyo State - A somber mood has engulfed the Alakia-Welfare-Airport Ibadan community following a tragic incident on Airport Road, Alakia, where a 17-year-old student lost his life in a hail of bullets fired by police officers. According to eyewitnesses, the incident occurred when a driver, allegedly passing through a one-way street, was pursued by police officers. In the ensuing chase, the officers opened fire, and a stray bullet struck another vehicle carrying the teenager, who was on his way to school to sit for a WAEC exam. The foremost monarch, who ascended the throne in July 2024, died in the early hours of Monday, July 7, 2025, after spending a year on the throne.  The demise of Oba Olakulehin, born July 5, 1935, is coming barely two days after celebrating his 90th birthday.  Oba Olakulehin received the staff of office from Oyo State Governor Engr.
