Ọmọ Aj'Orosun Social Club Congratulates Esteemed Members on Chieftaincy Titles' Elevation

In a grand gesture of recognition and celebration, the Ọmọ Aj'Orosun Social Club has extended its warmest congratulations to three of its distinguished members who have recently been elevated to new chieftaincy titles by the Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Owolabi Olakulehin Ige-Olakulehin I. This esteemed honor is a testament to the tireless efforts and unwavering dedication of these individuals to the community as it is the traditional continuous ascension of Senior and Junior Chiefs in the Olubadan Line.

The club's Public Relations Officer, Esv. Toyeshe Lawal, signed the congratulatory message on behalf of Engr. Sunday Gbenjo, the President of the Ọmọ Aj'Orosun Social Club. The message reads: "We are proud to recognize the achievements of OBA SHARAFADEEN ABIODUN ALLI (Ekarun Balogun Olubadan who has been elevated since 2024), OLOYE FEMI OGUNWALE (Aare Egbe Ọmọ Olubadan), and OLOYE MUYIWA MAKINDE (Aare Onibon Olubadan). Just In: (Pictorial) Tragedy Strikes Ibadan || Police Stray Bullet Claims Life of 17-Year-Old Student Published by Samuel Toba-Olumide   Ibadan, Oyo State - A somber mood has engulfed the Alakia-Welfare-Airport Ibadan community following a tragic incident on Airport Road, Alakia, where a 17-year-old student lost his life in a hail of bullets fired by police officers. According to eyewitnesses, the incident occurred when a driver, allegedly passing through a one-way street, was pursued by police officers. In the ensuing chase, the officers opened fire, and a stray bullet struck another vehicle carrying the teenager, who was on his way to school to sit for a WAEC exam. Breaking: Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Olakulehin is Dead Published by Samuel Toba-Olumide   The Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Owolabi Olakulehin, has reportedly joined his ancestors. The foremost monarch, who ascended the throne in July 2024, died in the early hours of Monday, July 7, 2025, after spending a year on the throne.  The demise of Oba Olakulehin, born July 5, 1935, is coming barely two days after celebrating his 90th birthday.  Oba Olakulehin received the staff of office from Oyo State Governor Engr.
