One Year In Office: Hon. Olusoji Alade SOJ Felicitates Ibadan North House of Legislature

A year ago, the Councillors of Ibadan North Local Government were sworn in and the House of Legislature was inaugurated by the Council Chairman, Hon. Oluwaseun Olufade ONALA. As the Councillors hereby celebrate their first anniversary in office, Hon. Olusoji Olusegun Alade, popularly known as SOJ, the Champion of Ibadan Culture and Social Secretary of Ọmọ Aj'Orosun Club, Ibadan, has extended warm congratulations to them for a successful one year in office.

According to Hon. SOJ, "This milestone is a testament to your dedication and commitment to serving the people of Ibadan North. I commend you for your hard work and urge you to continue putting the people first in your decision-making processes." He emphasized the importance of accountability, transparent governance.

Hon. SOJ noted that the councillors' first year in office has been remarkable, saying, "From the outset, you have shown great promise and potential, and I have no doubt that you will continue to excel in your roles." He expressed confidence in the councillors' ability to drive development and progress in Ibadan North.

As the councillors celebrate this milestone, Hon. SOJ urged them to remain focused and committed to their oath of office, saying, "Let us work together to build a brighter future for Ibadan North, and may your tenure be marked by great achievements and progress." He wished them well in their future endeavors and prayed for their continued success.

Hon. SOJ's message is a testament to the councillors' hard work and dedication to serving the people. His words of encouragement and congratulations will surely inspire them to continue serving with dedication and commitment.

According to eyewitnesses, the incident occurred when a driver, allegedly passing through a one-way street, was pursued by police officers. The foremost monarch, who ascended the throne in July 2024, died in the early hours of Monday, July 7, 2025, after spending a year on the throne.  The demise of Oba Olakulehin, born July 5, 1935, is coming barely two days after celebrating his 90th birthday.  Oba Olakulehin received the staff of office from Oyo State Governor Engr.
