Birthday: Gov. Makinde’s Aide, Hon. Julian Nwachukwu Extols the Virtues of Hon. Olusoji Alade (SOJ)

The Special Assistant to Oyo State Governor, Engr. Seyi Makinde, on Ibadan North Federal Constituency, Hon. Julian Àríké Nwachukwu, has joined family members, friends, associates and numerous well-wishers to celebrate the birthday of a PDP stalwart and notable stakeholder, Hon. Olusoji Olusegun Alade, fondly known as Hon. SOJ.

Hon. Julian, in a heartfelt birthday message made available to BishopWeeMedia, extolled the sterling qualities of the celebrant, describing him as a dependable, reliable and genuinely kind individual whose impact is deeply felt by everyone who comes in contact with him.


In her words, she wrote:

She further offered prayers and goodwill as Hon. SOJ marks another milestone in his life journey.

Hon. Olusoji Alade, the celebrant, is widely respected as the current Champion of Ibadan Culture, a prestigious honour bestowed on him by the Central Council of Ibadan Indigenes (CCII). He is also an accomplished businessman and a community-spirited leader, often described as a man whose kindness, generosity and goodwill cut across all divides.

According to eyewitnesses, the incident occurred when a driver, allegedly passing through a one-way street, was pursued by police officers. The foremost monarch, who ascended the throne in July 2024, died in the early hours of Monday, July 7, 2025, after spending a year on the throne.  The demise of Oba Olakulehin, born July 5, 1935, is coming barely two days after celebrating his 90th birthday.  Oba Olakulehin received the staff of office from Oyo State Governor Engr.
