As Engr. Mrs. Olufunke Tamunominini Makinde, the First Lady of Oyo State, marks another year of grace and impact, tributes have continued to pour in from admirers, political associates, and well-wishers across the state in recognition of her invaluable contributions to governance, humanitarian service, and women empowerment.

Joining the chorus of celebrants is Hon. Julian Àríké Nwachukwu, Special Assistant to Governor Seyi Makinde on Ibadan North Federal Constituency and Ex-Officio of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ibadan North Local Government, who described the First Lady as a beacon of hope, compassion, and unwavering support to the Governor and the people of Oyo State.

In a congratulatory message issued to commemorate her birthday, Hon. Julian extolled the virtues of Mrs. Makinde, noting that her commitment to the welfare of women, children, and vulnerable groups has continued to distinguish her as a compassionate leader and a role model worthy of emulation.

"Engr. Mrs. Olufunke Makinde is a source of strength and inspiration, not only to our dear Governor, Engr. Seyi Makinde, but also to countless women and families across Oyo State. Her kindness, humility, and dedication to service have touched many lives and continue to inspire hope among our people," Hon. Julian stated.

She further described the First Lady as a dependable partner in governance whose steadfast support has contributed immensely to the success of the Makinde administration.

According to her, Mrs. Makinde's passion for humanity and her unwavering commitment to social development initiatives have earned her admiration from people across different walks of life.

"As a caring mother and a supportive wife, she has remained a reliable pillar behind the Governor's vision for sustainable development and inclusive governance. Her good heart and genuine concern for the wellbeing of the people make her an exceptional First Lady," she added.

Hon. Julian also commended Mrs. Makinde's consistent efforts in promoting women empowerment, education, healthcare, and social welfare programmes aimed at improving the quality of life of residents of Oyo State.

She noted that the celebrant's selfless service and commitment to humanity continue to complement the administration's people-centred policies, making meaningful impacts in communities across the state.

On behalf of the people of Ibadan North Federal Constituency, Hon. Julian offered heartfelt prayers for the First Lady as she celebrates her special day.

"On this joyous occasion of your birthday, I pray that God Almighty blesses you with long life, sound health, greater wisdom, peace, and abundant prosperity. May He continue to strengthen you and grant you the grace to keep impacting lives positively."

She concluded by wishing the First Lady many more years of fulfilment, happiness, and continued service to humanity. 

"Happy Birthday, Your Excellency. May this new chapter bring greater accomplishments, divine favour, and unending joy. We celebrate your life, your service, and your remarkable contributions to the progress of Oyo State."
