Ibadan North Constituency 1 comprises of WARDS 1-6 of the Local Government. From the Confirmed Results so far, in Ward 1 which is the Home Ward of the Accord Party Candidate, Hon. Oladayo, Hon COMFORTER of the PDP led her closest challenger, the Accord Party Candidate with 588 Votes. She polled 1223, Accord Polled 635 while APC polled 520.  In Ward 3, The PDP Candidate, Hon. Comforter polled 3891 while her APC Counterpart polled 1715 votes. In Ward 4 which is the Ward of the APC Candidate, Hon. Mustapha, PDP polled 3359, APC polled 1244 while Accord Party polled 312.  Samuel Toba-Olumide The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) says the old N200, N500 and N1000 notes remain legal tender until December 31, 2023. Isa Abdulmumin, CBN spokesperson, announced the development in a statement on Monday “In compliance with the established tradition of obedience to court orders and sustenance of the Rule of Law Principle that characterized the government of President Muhammadu Buhari, and by extension, the operations of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), as a regulator, Deposit Money Banks operating in Nigeria have been directed to comply with the Supreme Court ruling of March 3, 2023,” the statement reads. “Accordingly, the CBN met with the Bankers’ Committee and has directed that the old N200, N500 and N1000 banknotes remain legal tender alongside the redesigned banknotes till December 31, 2023. “Consequently, all concerned are directed to conform accordingly.” Two weeks ago, the supreme court invalidated the naira redesign policy introduced by the CBN, citing a
