Senator Monsurat Sunmonu's illustrious career is marked by numerous milestones, including her tenure as the first female Speaker of the Oyo State House of Assembly and her representation of Oyo Central Senatorial District in the Nigerian Senate. Her commitment to promoting socio-political development in Oyo State has left an indelible impact.


One of the Vice Chairmen, Hon. Akeem Ayoade, the Vice Chairman, Ibadan North Local Government said, "Mama Senator Monsurat Sunmonu is a shining example of leadership and dedication to public service." The Are-Latosa LCDA Chairman also added that "Her tireless efforts to promote grassroots governance and community development have inspired many.
