One Year Of Good Governance: PDP Stalwart, Hon. Soji Alade SOJ hails Hon. Onala's Outstanding Leadership

Hon. Oluwaseun Olufade ONALA celebrates his first anniversary as Chairman of Ibadan North Local Government today May 24th, 2024. In the light of this, Hon. Olusoji Olusegun Alade SOJ, a stalwart of the PDP and champion of Ibadan culture, has joined well-wishers to felicitate him.

According to Hon. SOJ, "Hon. ONALA is a business associate, a dutiful Chairman, and a good administrator who has put Ibadan North Local Government on the global map for development since he assumed power last year. And I'm not surprised because having a Mentor like Otunba Seye Famojuro brings the best out of you" Hon. SOJ's praise for Hon. ONALA's leadership is a testament to his exceptional governance skills.

Under Hon. ONALA's stewardship, Ibadan North has witnessed significant growth and development. As Hon. SOJ noted, "Hon. ONALA's leadership has brought unparalleled progress to Ibadan North, and I'm confident that he'll continue to build on this momentum."

Hon. ONALA's commitment to good governance and grassroots development has earned him widespread acclaim. Hon. SOJ further praised Hon. ONALA, saying, "He's a true leader who puts the people first, and his dedication to the development of Ibadan North is evident in the numerous projects he's initiated and completed."

As we celebrate Hon. ONALA's first anniversary, we pray that God grants him more success on his seat and the wisdom to continue making wise decisions that benefit the people of Ibadan North.

Just In: (Pictorial) Tragedy Strikes Ibadan || Police Stray Bullet Claims Life of 17-Year-Old Student Published by Samuel Toba-Olumide   Ibadan, Oyo State - A somber mood has engulfed the Alakia-Welfare-Airport Ibadan community following a tragic incident on Airport Road, Alakia, where a 17-year-old student lost his life in a hail of bullets fired by police officers. According to eyewitnesses, the incident occurred when a driver, allegedly passing through a one-way street, was pursued by police officers. In the ensuing chase, the officers opened fire, and a stray bullet struck another vehicle carrying the teenager, who was on his way to school to sit for a WAEC exam. The foremost monarch, who ascended the throne in July 2024, died in the early hours of Monday, July 7, 2025, after spending a year on the throne.  The demise of Oba Olakulehin, born July 5, 1935, is coming barely two days after celebrating his 90th birthday.  Oba Olakulehin received the staff of office from Oyo State Governor Engr.
