The 2025 Champion of Ibadan Culture, Hon. Olusoji Olusegun Alade, fondly known as Hon. SOJ, has joined friends, family members, political associates, and well-wishers to celebrate the birthday of the Executive Chairman of Ibadan North Local Government, Hon. Oluwaseun Olufade Onala.

Hon. Alade, a respected stalwart of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Ibadan North Local Government, an astute businessman, and a proud custodian of Ibadan cultural heritage, used the occasion to extol the leadership qualities of the Council Chairman. A January celebrant himself and the Social Secretary of the prestigious Ọmọ Aj’Orosun Social Club, Ibadan, Hon. SOJ described Hon. Olufade as a leader par excellence whose impact is already being felt across the local government.

In his heartfelt birthday message, Hon. SOJ acknowledged the Chairman’s dedication to service and development, noting that even within a short period in office, his administration has recorded commendable strides in governance and community advancement.

“Happy birthday to a leader par excellence, Hon. Seun Olufade. As a stalwart of the PDP and a stakeholder in Ibadan North Local Government, I have had the privilege of witnessing your transformational leadership firsthand,” he stated.

Hon. SOJ further praised the Chairman’s unwavering commitment to the welfare and progress of the people, describing his achievements so far as clear evidence of vision, hard work, and purposeful leadership.

“Your leadership has continued to positively impact our community, and this is truly inspiring. I pray that God continues to bless and guide you as you mark another year of life,” he added.

Concluding his message, Hon. SOJ wished the Council Chairman many more years of impactful leadership, success, and fulfillment, praying that the new year brings renewed strength, joy, and greater accomplishments.

The foremost monarch, who ascended the throne in July 2024, died in the early hours of Monday, July 7, 2025, after spending a year on the throne.  The demise of Oba Olakulehin, born July 5, 1935, is coming barely two days after celebrating his 90th birthday.  Oba Olakulehin received the staff of office from Oyo State Governor Engr.
