(Dr.) Olufunke Comforter Adeniyi-Olajide, the Member-Elect OYHA Ibadan North Constituency 1 Felicitates the Children Nationwide on the Celebration of World Children's Day which comes up every May 27th, expressing her optimism with prayers that the children will grow in wisdom to fulfill their purposes in life.


Furthermore, the founder of COMFORTER'S FOUNDATION appeals to parents not to relent in their quest to send their wards to school as His Excellency Governor Seyi Makinde has made Education Free in the Pacesetters' State, Oyo.


Finally, she states that our children are our future, and initiatives that come from them give confidence that our country, state and local government has a bright future.

Just In: (Pictorial) Tragedy Strikes Ibadan || Police Stray Bullet Claims Life of 17-Year-Old Student Published by Samuel Toba-Olumide   Ibadan, Oyo State - A somber mood has engulfed the Alakia-Welfare-Airport Ibadan community following a tragic incident on Airport Road, Alakia, where a 17-year-old student lost his life in a hail of bullets fired by police officers. According to eyewitnesses, the incident occurred when a driver, allegedly passing through a one-way street, was pursued by police officers. In the ensuing chase, the officers opened fire, and a stray bullet struck another vehicle carrying the teenager, who was on his way to school to sit for a WAEC exam. Breaking: Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Olakulehin is Dead Published by Samuel Toba-Olumide   The Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Owolabi Olakulehin, has reportedly joined his ancestors. The foremost monarch, who ascended the throne in July 2024, died in the early hours of Monday, July 7, 2025, after spending a year on the throne.  The demise of Oba Olakulehin, born July 5, 1935, is coming barely two days after celebrating his 90th birthday.  Oba Olakulehin received the staff of office from Oyo State Governor Engr.
