Dear Constituents,

The final week of the month of July 2023 was a busy yet eventful one. The week itself was a busy one for our beloved Local Government, Ibadan North, with different kinds of events which took place. My own Events will be arranged chronologically in ascending order and I hope you'll enjoy the trip as you follow me✍🏾✍🏾:

Hon. Dr. Olufunke Comforter Adeniyi-Olajide, Member, Oyo State House of Assembly, Ibadan North Constituency 1

👉🏾 On Monday 24th July, 2023, the Legislative Arm of Ibadan North Local Government, led by the House Leader, Hon. Olaolu Amos Akindele came bearing gifts on a Congratulatory Visit to my Office. I reiterated my commitment to making my Constituency and Ibadan North at large, enjoy the dividends of Democracy as led by our indefatigable Governor, His Excellency Engr Seyi Makinde.

👉🏾 On Tuesday, 25th July 2023, the 10th Oyo Assembly screened the new 9 Commissioner Nominees who have gone on to be sworn in as Substantive Commissioners the following Day.

👉🏾 That Same Tuesday, 25th of July, the PDP Local Government Secretary, Hon. Adewumi Adeagbo led the Ward Secretaries of my Constituency on a Congratulatory Visit. In my remarks, I reminded them if the old saying that without the party, there'll be no government (Egbé ló bí ìjoba), hitherto, as we ensure that the dividends of democracy reaches our constituents, our administration will ensure there be a balance with the political party too. They shall not be forgotten.

👉🏾 On Thursday July 27th, I joined my fellow Honourable Colleagues of the 10th Oyo Assembly, as we joined the Movement, to end, for Good: Female Genital Mutilation (FGM), Gender-Based Violence (GBV), Violence Against Women & Children and Child Marriage. It was a movement organized by the Trailblazer Initiative, Nigeria and UNICEF for Every Child.

👉🏾 Also on Thursday, 27th July, I received members of the Ibadan North Branch of the Tamunominini Olufunke MAKINDE (T.O.M) Group, led by the Local Government Coordinator, Hon. Eniola Oyebanji also on a Congratulatory Visit. They prayed for a successful tenure for me and reiterated my commitment to the Constituency, my Political Party PDP and all the support groups attached.

👉🏾 On Friday 28th of July, 2023, there was an Induction Fellowship of the 10th Oyo Assembly Christian Honourable Members at the Christian Legislators’ Fellowship Chapel International, Secretariat, Ibadan. We were charged by the Lord Bishop of Ibadan North Anglican Diocese, Rt. Revd. Williams Oluwarotimi Aladekugbe, to rule with the fear of God. We should ask for God's Wisdom, have respect for God and live in the knowledge that one day, we'll come back and give account of our stewardship to the Almighty God.
