A People's Democratic Party (PDP) Stalwart in Ibadan North Local Government, Hon. OLALEKAN ADELEKE ATILOLA popularly known as OLACASH has felicitated the Muslim UMMAH on the occasion of the 2023 Islamic New Year, The HIJRAH 1445 A.H.


The business mogul who was an Aspirant for the Oyo State House of Assembly, Ibadan North Constituency 2 at the 2022 Primary Elections prays for the inhabitants of Ibadan North Local Government, Oyo State and Federal Republic of Nigeria that they shall witness more of this day in the land of the living.


In a short message he made available to the Media earlier today, he said:


"It's a New Islamic Calendar Year and we are grateful to the Almighty Allah SWT for sparing our lives to witness the HIJRAH 1445. I use this medium to felicitate the Muslim UMMAH worldwide, in Nigeria, Oyo State and my beloved local government, Ibadan North. May the Almighty Allah see us through this new year in peace. May Prosperity and blessings abide with us and may we no experience loss of any kind. Congratulations to us all."

Just In: (Pictorial) Tragedy Strikes Ibadan || Police Stray Bullet Claims Life of 17-Year-Old Student Published by Samuel Toba-Olumide   Ibadan, Oyo State - A somber mood has engulfed the Alakia-Welfare-Airport Ibadan community following a tragic incident on Airport Road, Alakia, where a 17-year-old student lost his life in a hail of bullets fired by police officers. According to eyewitnesses, the incident occurred when a driver, allegedly passing through a one-way street, was pursued by police officers. In the ensuing chase, the officers opened fire, and a stray bullet struck another vehicle carrying the teenager, who was on his way to school to sit for a WAEC exam. The foremost monarch, who ascended the throne in July 2024, died in the early hours of Monday, July 7, 2025, after spending a year on the throne.  The demise of Oba Olakulehin, born July 5, 1935, is coming barely two days after celebrating his 90th birthday.  Oba Olakulehin received the staff of office from Oyo State Governor Engr.
