OYO 2024 POLLS: IT IS INDEED A NEW DAWN IN IBADAN NORTH - EDUCATION SECRETARY, MRS ADEWUMI CONGRATULATES HON. OLUFADE, THE CHAIRMANSHIP CANDIDATE

The Ibadan North Basic Education Authority which is headed by The Education Secretary, Hon. Mrs. ADEBUSOLA ADEJOKE ADEWUMI has joined well wishers to Congratulate the Freshly Minted PDP CANDIDATE for the Ibadan North Local Government Council Chairman at the 2024 OYSIEC ELECTIONS, Hon. Oluwaseun OLUFADE after his victory at the Primary Elections which held on Friday, July 21.

It will be recalled that Hon. Seun OLUFADE defeated his only challenger, the suspended incumbent by 117-2 amongst the 120 delegates that voted. 1 vote was recorded by void as the Hon. OLUFADE was declared winner by the Returning Officer, Engr. Femi Afolabi.

In a short message the Education Secretary made available to News Men, she wrote in part:

"It is indeed a New Dawn in my Beloved Local Government, Ibadan North as we have a new and worthy Candidate to represent our great Party at the Next OYSIEC ELECTIONS. Hon. OLUFADE is a worthy champion who has paid his dues and really merit any good and great thing mete unto him.

"I congratulate you my Incoming Chairman Sir and I am sure that, by the grace of God, Ibadan North Local Government will flourish during your tenure. Finally, ONA TI LA fun wa ni Ibadan North."
