OYSIEC 2024: HON YETUNDE ADEOYE PICKS NOMINATION AND INTEREST FORMS TO REPRESENT WARD V, IBADAN NORTH, PROMISES INCLUSIVE GOVERNMENT

After the Executive Governor of Oyo State, Engr. Seyi MAKINDE took the oath of office on the 29th of May 2019, he assured the good people of Oyo State that there shall be massive consideration of the Female Gender in his administration hereby tagged the #WomenInclusion. As a man of his words, he fulfilled that and more by appointing women in his cabinets and also in Electoral positions.

As the OmiTuntun 1.0 drew to a close, he promised that the 2nd Term tagged OmiTuntun 2.0 will be better in term of every facet, (The Women Inclusion agenda inclusive). This has energized and encouraged a lot of female technocrats, aristocrats, professionals and politicians who, hitherto, loved to confine themselves into the shell of private life, eye one aspiration or the other for top political and apolitical positions which of course they are qualified for.

In Ibadan North Local Government, this Women Inclusivity was evident as the Lawmaker representing Ibadan North Constituency 1, Hon. Dr. Olufunke Comforter Adeniyi-Olajide is a female, likewise the recently designated Commissioner, Hon. Toyin Balogun. So many females have aspired to contest for the position of their Wards Councillors at the forthcoming OYSIEC ELECTIONS, much more than in the past and one of such qualified candidates is HON. YETUNDE ADEOYE, from Ward 5, Ibadan North Local Government of Oyo State.

Hon. Yetunde Adeoye isn't just overtly qualified for the position but she has been prepared for a while since she also aspired at the immediate past dispensation. After consulting the leaders in her Ward and Local Government, she proceeded to the Party State Office alongside friends and well wishers to pick her Interest and Nomination Forms to represent the good people of Ward 5, Ibadan North Local Government as their next Councillor.

After picking the forms, she proceeded to some of the Party Executives and  leaders she could reach immediately as at press for prayers and endorsement. They all wished her well with best of luck in her aspirations and pledged supports where necessary.

The Aspirant in return appreciates His Excellency, Engr Seyi Makinde for giving women huge priority in his Government. She also appreciates all the Party Excos and Leaders from Ward Level to Local Government level. She promises Inclusivity, if elected and she will do the needful to ensure smooth governance for the good people of Ward 5.
