The Lawmaker representing Ibadan North Constituency 1 at the 10th Oyo Assembly has felicitated the Traditional Worshippers on the occasion of the 2023 ÌSÈSE DAY which the Executive Governor of Oyo State, Governor Seyi MAKINDE has approved to be held on the 20th of August.



In a post she made available to BishopWeeMedia, she wrote:

"Today being the 20th of August 2023, I felicitate His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Oyo State, ENGR SEYI MAKINDE and the good people of Oyo State on the occasion of the Annual ÌSÈSE DAY.

"The Yorùbá culture is laced with rich history which is unique and so so enviable that its uniqueness places us amongst the top in the world. This richness of our culture makes it imperative to be preserved so that our children born and unborn be educated in that line hitherto.

"Yes, I lent my voice in the support of granting our traditional worshippers their own day to celebrate the rich culture of our land (as seen in the attached video) and we are grateful to The Right Honourable Speaker of the House, our great leader, Rt. Hon. ADEBO OGUNDOYIN, for passing this bill and also Our PACESETTING GOVERNOR (AJÍSE BÍ ÒYÓ LÀÁRÍ, ÒYÓ Ò SE BÍI BÀBÁ ENÌKAN), Engr. Seyi MAKINDE for truly setting the pace and approving this date, which has been generally accepted by Majority of His Counterparts in the SouthWestern part of the country.
