A good person has no religion, He is simply a good person who treats everyone well.

This man is a special creature that deserves to be celebrated.

I have always opined that the worth of every man is not in his material possession but in his investment in other persons.

The greatest investment you can have is to invest in humans and one of the greatest investor in humans that I know is the Samoriadinni of Oyo Land.

Our first physical contact was in 2019 and in more than a year of knowing him on a very personal basis, I have learnt so many things from him some of which I will share with us this morning.

LOVE:

Chief Babatunde Ologburo genuinely loves people around him and those that are far from him. This is a trait that is far from many of our leaders that God has blessed. He likes to actually reach out to people, ask them what their issue and solve it to the best of his ability. He does this without making noise or mentioning it to others. I have seen him do this over and over again and this action can only be borne out of heart that genuinely loves and care for the wellbeing of the people

PATRIOTISM:

I believe in Nigeria. My heart naturally gravitates towards anyone that shares or carry the burden for a Nigeria that is egalitarian. I have only met few blessed Nigerians that carry the same patriotic spirit this ebullient personality carries.

He loves this nation and Oyo State in particular.

Every of his action in politics or outside politics is geared towards effecting change in the nation and in the state.

The love he has for Oyo Land cannot be explained in this piece.

Chief Ologburo will invite creatives like us to his palatial Jericho home and engage us on how to make Oyo town better. Being a creative himself, He leads by sharing with us lofty ideas and concepts.

Even though he is not loud and likes to do his things silently, Babatunde Ologburo has bankrolled elections for people he believes in their cause and he is not expecting returns of any kind! This I know for sure.

HUMILITY:

You see, it takes a lot of humility to deal with young people like us. One traits that endeared many young persons across political divide in Oyo State to this great enigma is his humility.

Despite the fact that God has blessed him all round, he still relates with everyone ordinarily. You need to see the way Chief relates with his domestic staffs. He carries this aura of simplicity and even in his looks, he is not ambiguous. Very humble, accessible and approachable.

EXCELLENCE:

Another virtue that I love about this special person is his knack for excellence.

He does not do or accept anything that is short of excellence. If it is shabby, sub standard, imperfect or defective, it is not Tunde Ologburo.

Baba pays attention to every details. When you are working with him, you have to be extremely cautious, detailed and thorough. He picks errors and fault with the eye of an eagle. When you make mistakes, He corrects you with love and does not condemn you to damnation like some leaders do.

FORESIGHT:

Chief Babatunde Ologburo is a man with the special ability to foresee and make necessary decisions. For those who followed the events that led to the emergence of Governor Seyi Makinde, you will agree with me that Baba Ologburo has a strong foreseeing ability.

This is a man that will ask us to come into his house and share with us where he sees Oyo town in 5,10 years and how to position ourselves for that season.

Anytime you see Dr. Babatunde Ologburo nurturing an idea, watch it carefully, it is most times a product of foresight and the result might not be immediate.

FAMILY:

This for me is the most important virtue. Chief Babatunde Ologburo is a genuine, strong and a committed family man. I have been to his house many times and the way he relates, plays and connect with his immediate family is worthy of learning..

He enjoys their full support and they also cooperate with him. You can feel the pulse of Dolapo, Temitope and Subomi Ologburo is his own body.

A father in the truest sense of it!

He is an example of an all round success.
