HON MUSA AKINSAWE JOINS THE JOINT NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES, OYO STATE CHAPTER AND EULOGIZES GSM AT THE CONSULTATIVE MEETING ON THE YEAR 2024 BUDGET

Yesterday 4th of September 2023, the JOINT NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES, OYO STATE CHAPTER JOINED OYO STATE MINISTRY OF BUDGET AND ECONOMIC PLANNING IN STAKEHOLDERS CONSULTATIVE MEETING ON YEAR 2024 BUDGET. 

Yes, Appreciation is application for more.

We express our profound gratitude to God Almighty and His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Oyo state Engr. Seyi Makinde for his magnanimous gesture towards People With Disability in Oyo State by approving Oyo State's Agency for Persons Living With Disabilities and appointing amiable leaders; Barrister Ayodele Adekanbi as the Director-General for the Agency and Hon. Olufemi Sunday Timothy as the Executive Assistant on Disability Matters.

We humbly moved to our requests:

1. Our various Homes and schools are due for Rehabilitation;

2. We request that the feeding of our people needs urgent intervention in the homes.

3. We want to appeal that every structure both old and new in Oyo State is friend to the People Living with Disabilities.

4. We appeal that there should be separate Budget for our new Agency so as to make it a standard one.


After the presentation the Governor assured us during the feedback season that we should be rest assured that the Agency will be funded


Thank you Your Excellency, you really are the Hope of People with Disabilities in Oyo State and Beyond.
