AKINBOLA MODINAT MOURNS LATE LEADER ENGR. AJUWON, SAYS HE CAN'T BE FORGOTTEN

An erstwhile Supervisory Councillor of Ibadan North Local Government and also a member of the Hon. Olufunke COMFORTER'S APEX TEAM, Hon. AKINBOLA Modinat has eulogized the recently deceased PDP Leader, Engr. Daniel Olutunji AJUWON who died at the early hours of Monday, 6th November, 2023.

Hon. Modinat in her remarks highlighed the late Baba Ajuwon as a leader who cared for his followers and proteges. He not only looked after them but also propelled them to reach the heights they can reach in life.

She also added that Baba Ajuwon's legacy can never be truncated in the annals of Ibadan North Local Government and Oyo State's Politics is concerned.

Finally she prayed that the Almighty rests the soul of the departed and the God comforts everybody attached to the late PDP Leader.

Engr. Daniel Olutunji AJUWON, until his passing was the PDP National Delegate and one of the foremost PDP Leaders from Ibadan North Local Government. May his gentle soul rest in perfect peace.

Just In: (Pictorial) Tragedy Strikes Ibadan || Police Stray Bullet Claims Life of 17-Year-Old Student Published by Samuel Toba-Olumide   Ibadan, Oyo State - A somber mood has engulfed the Alakia-Welfare-Airport Ibadan community following a tragic incident on Airport Road, Alakia, where a 17-year-old student lost his life in a hail of bullets fired by police officers. According to eyewitnesses, the incident occurred when a driver, allegedly passing through a one-way street, was pursued by police officers. In the ensuing chase, the officers opened fire, and a stray bullet struck another vehicle carrying the teenager, who was on his way to school to sit for a WAEC exam. The foremost monarch, who ascended the throne in July 2024, died in the early hours of Monday, July 7, 2025, after spending a year on the throne.  The demise of Oba Olakulehin, born July 5, 1935, is coming barely two days after celebrating his 90th birthday.  Oba Olakulehin received the staff of office from Oyo State Governor Engr.
