NOVEMBER: COUNCIL BOSS OLUFADE WISHES RESIDENTS AND STAFF OF IBADAN NORTH LOCAL GOVERNMENT A HAPPY NEW MONTH

The Executive Chairman of Ibadan North Local Government, Hon. Oluwaseun Olufade, has extended his heartfelt wishes to the residents and staff of the local government as they enter the month of November.

In a statement made available earlier today through his head of media, Aderibigbe Yisahu, Hon. Olufade expressed his hopes for a month filled with positivity and prosperity for both the local government council and the community at large.

"As we step into the month of November, I wish all residents and staff of Ibadan North Local Government a prosperous and joyful month ahead," said Hon. Olufade.

"May this new month bring positivity, growth, and prosperity to our local government council and to every home within our community."

He also emphasized the importance of unity and collaboration, urging everyone to continue working together to improve the local government area.

"Let's continue to work together in unity and dedication to make Ibadan North a better place for all," Hon. Olufade added.

Just In: (Pictorial) Tragedy Strikes Ibadan || Police Stray Bullet Claims Life of 17-Year-Old Student Published by Samuel Toba-Olumide   Ibadan, Oyo State - A somber mood has engulfed the Alakia-Welfare-Airport Ibadan community following a tragic incident on Airport Road, Alakia, where a 17-year-old student lost his life in a hail of bullets fired by police officers. According to eyewitnesses, the incident occurred when a driver, allegedly passing through a one-way street, was pursued by police officers. In the ensuing chase, the officers opened fire, and a stray bullet struck another vehicle carrying the teenager, who was on his way to school to sit for a WAEC exam. The foremost monarch, who ascended the throne in July 2024, died in the early hours of Monday, July 7, 2025, after spending a year on the throne.  The demise of Oba Olakulehin, born July 5, 1935, is coming barely two days after celebrating his 90th birthday.  Oba Olakulehin received the staff of office from Oyo State Governor Engr.
