Ibadan North Council Chairman, Olufade, Sympathizes With Governor Seyi Makinde On The Passing Of Engineer Sunday Makinde

The Executive Chairman of Ibadan North Local Government, Hon. Oluwaseun Olufade, has extended his heartfelt condolences to Governor Seyi Makinde and his family following the passing of Engineer Sunday Makinde, the governor’s eldest brother.  

Engineer Sunday Makinde, renowned for his dedication to community development and professional excellence, recently passed away, leaving behind a remarkable legacy of service, kindness, and integrity. 

In a statement released through his Head of Media, Aderibigbe Yisahu Ajibola, Hon. Olufade expressed deep sympathy to Governor Makinde and the bereaved family, acknowledging Engineer Sunday Makinde’s significant contributions to society.  

“This is a painful loss not only for the Makinde family but also for Oyo State as a whole," Hon. Olufade remarked.

"Engineer Sunday Makinde's legacy of service, humility, and kindness will forever remain an inspiration to us all."  

He added, "During this difficult time, my thoughts and prayers are with Governor Seyi Makinde and the entire family. 

May God grant them the strength to bear this irreparable loss, and may Engineer Sunday Makinde's soul rest in perfect peace."  

Hon. Olufade also called on the people of Oyo State to honor the memory of the late Engineer Makinde by upholding the values of integrity and dedication that he exemplified.
