Immediate Past Oyo State Forum of Local Government Assistants commiserates with Gov. Makinde on brother's death

The Immediate Past Oyo State Forum of Local Government Special Assistants has sent a heartfelt condolence message to the Executive Governor of Oyo State, Engr Seyi Makinde, following the sudden and painful passing of his beloved elder brother, Engr. Sunday Makinde yesterday.

In a statement released and made available to BishopWeeMedia by the erstwhile coordinator of the Forum, Hon. Jumoke Ali, the Forum described the deceased as an exceptional individual who left a positive mark on the lives of everyone he touched.

His demise was shocking and has sent shockwaves throughout the state. Many described him as a kind-hearted, good and compassionate person who will be deeply missed by all.

The message read in part:

“We express great sadness and shock by the news of the passing of Governor Seyi Makinde's eldest brother, Engineer Sunday Makinde.

“Our thoughts and prayers are with Governor Makinde, his family, and the entire Makinde dynasty during this incredibly challenging and emotional time.

“We pray that God will grant them the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss and continue to lead our great state to greater heights.”
