Ọmọ Aj'Orosun Club Commiserates with Gov. Seyi Makinde & Barr. Makinde on the death of eldest brother, Engr. Sunday Makinde

One of the foremost Social Clubs in Ibadan, Ọmọ Aj'Orosun has commiserated with the Executive Governor of Oyo State, Engr. Seyi Makinde and his brother, the Bada Olubadan of Ibadan, Barr. Muyiwa Makinde on the demise of the scion of the family, Engr. Sunday Makinde, who passed on in the early hours of Friday, January 24th, 2025
In a statement released by the Club's P.R.O, Esv. Adetoyeshe Lawal and signed by the President, Engr. Sunday Gbenjo, the club described the late Engr as an elder Statesman who will be sorely missed. The message read below:
"His Excellency, Engr. Seyi Makinde,
Executive Governor of Oyo State,
Government House, Agodi, Ibadan.
"Barr. Olumuyiwa Makinde,
Bada Olubadan of Ibadan,
Member, Ọmọ Aj'Orosun Social Club.
"Your Excellency and Oloye Bada Olubadan,
"We were deeply saddened to hear about the sudden passing of Engr. Sunday Makinde, the eldest brother of the Makinde's Family. Our hearts go out to you and your entire family during this difficult time.
"The Ọmọ Aj'Orosun Social Club, Ibadan, wishes to express its profound condolences to you, Your Excellency, and to our dear brother, Barr. Olumuyiwa Makinde, who has been an integral part of our club. May the Almighty God grant you the strength and fortitude to bear this irreparable loss.
"Engr. Sunday Makinde's demise is not only a loss to the Makinde family but also to the entire people of Oyo State, whom he had served in his capacity as an elder Statesman. His legacy will continue to inspire and motivate us.
"Please accept our sincerest condolences. May the soul of Engr. Sunday Makinde rest in perfect peace.
We also acknowledge the significant roles Governor Seyi MAKINDE and Barr. Olumuyiwa Makinde has played in our club, and we pray that God will grant you both the strength to bear this loss.
