Gov. Makinde's Aide, Hon. Julian Àríké Nwachukwu Congratulates Illustrious Sons of Ibadan North on Key Appointments

In a warm show of solidarity and celebration, the Special Assistant to Governor Seyi Makinde on Ibadan North Federal Constituency, Hon. Julian Àríké Nwachukwu, has extended her heartfelt congratulations to prominent indigenes of Ibadan North Local Government on their recent appointments into key positions within Oyo State.

Describing the appointments as “a significant plus to the largest local government in Oyo State,” Hon. Julian Àríké Nwachukwu expressed confidence that the newly appointed officials would bring transformative leadership, development, and pride to Ibadan North, one of the most politically active and strategically important constituencies in the state.


Among those appointed are:

👉🏾Hon. Kazim Adeyinka Adeniyi Bibire as the Deputy Chief of Staff to Governor Seyi Makinde

👉🏾Hon. Waheed Akanbi Biiro as the Chairman, Oyo State Waste Management Board

👉🏾Hon. Taiwo Lekan-Salami as the Chairman, Board of Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC)

👉🏾Hon. Kabiru Salami (De-Bomba), a retired senior Police Officer, as the Executive Assistant to the Governor on Security Coordination

👉🏾Alhaji Comrade Ademuyiwa Mustapha as the Acting Chairman, People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Ibadan North Local Government


In her statement to the press, Hon. Julian Nwachukwu praised the calibre of individuals selected, calling them “diligent and illustrious sons of Ibadan North whose unwavering commitment to public service and community development has now been rightfully recognized.”

“These are men of proven capacity and unquestionable loyalty to the ideals of the present administration,” she said. “Their appointments are not only well-deserved but also strategic to the ongoing mission of good governance, security, grassroots empowerment, and social development being championed by His Excellency, Governor Seyi Makinde.”

She went further to highlight how each of the appointees had made remarkable contributions to the growth and progress of the local government over the years, and how their new roles would consolidate the gains made under the current administration.

“Whether it is in the area of security, sports, waste management, or political coordination, Ibadan North now has competent and trusted hands positioned to drive development. This is a defining moment for us,” she noted.

Hon. Julian Nwachukwu also extended her gratitude to Governor Seyi Makinde for “his inclusive leadership style and his continued trust in the sons and daughters of Ibadan North,” affirming that the governor’s commitment to grassroots participation and equitable appointments remains unmatched in the political history of Oyo State.

She urged the appointees to remain focused, transparent, and people-oriented in the discharge of their duties, reminding them that they carry the hopes and expectations of their constituents.

“The spotlight is on you now,” she said. “Make Ibadan North proud, and let your performance reflect the excellence that our local government stands for.”

The appointments have been widely celebrated across political, traditional, and civil society circles in Ibadan North, with many expressing optimism that the local government is set for a new wave of progressive development.
