Ibadan North LG Vice Chairman, Hon. Akeem Ayoade Felicitates Hon. Fola Don, PDP Candidate for By-Election

The Vice Chairman of Ibadan North Local Government and Political Head of Aare-Latosa LCDA, Hon. Akeem Adewale Ayoade, has joined numerous well-wishers in congratulating the consensus candidate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) for the forthcoming Ibadan North Federal Constituency By-Election, Hon. Fola Oyekunle Don.

In a statement personally signed and made available to newsmen, Hon. Ayoade described Hon. Don as “a competent, visionary, and grassroots-oriented leader who embodies the values and aspirations of the people of Ibadan North.”

According to Hon. Ayoade, “Hon. Don is not only a good man, but also reliable, selfless, and committed to the progress of our constituency. His track record in service and unwavering dedication to community development stand him out as a good man for the job.”

Hon. Ayoade, who was a protégé of the late Hon. Prince Akinremi Jagaban, the late Member of the House of Representatives, representing Ibadan North Federal Constituency, also expressed appreciation to His Excellency, Governor Seyi Makinde, for his fatherly role in ensuring unity within the party.

“We thank His Excellency for being a true father of the party. His wisdom and leadership have brought about unity among all aspirants, who patriotically stepped down their ambitions in the interest of the party. May they all be abundantly blessed for their sacrifice,” he stated.

He further charged all members and supporters of the PDP to rally behind the party’s flagbearer in the lead-up to the August 16 by-election.

“This is a time for total commitment. PDP is our party, and we must all work in unison to secure a resounding victory at the polls. Let us go back to our wards, mobilize our people, and ensure that Hon. Don emerges victorious,” Hon. Ayoade declared.

The statement ended with a firm call to action for party faithful across the constituency: unity, strategy, and victory.
