Ibadan North PDP Youth Leaders Begin Ward-to-ward Visitation In Preparation For Federal Constituency Bye-Election

As the Ibadan North Federal Constituency prepares for the upcoming bye-election, the PDP Youth Leadership under the able leadership of Hon. Oladipupo Adedeji has commenced ward-to-ward sensitization and mobilization efforts.

The visitation, which kicked off with active participation from youth leaders across Ward 2, Ward 4, Ward 8, Ward 9, and Ward 10, is aimed at creating awareness, uniting the grassroots, and mobilizing support for the party ahead of the crucial election.

Speaking during the visitation, Hon. Oladipo Adedeji emphasized the importance of youth involvement in the electoral process and reiterated the PDP’s commitment to grassroots engagement and youth empowerment.

He also urged all stakeholders, especially the youths, to remain steadfast, focused, and united to ensure victory for the party at the polls.

The sensitization tour is expected to continue across the remaining wards in the coming days.

According to eyewitnesses, the incident occurred when a driver, allegedly passing through a one-way street, was pursued by police officers. The foremost monarch, who ascended the throne in July 2024, died in the early hours of Monday, July 7, 2025, after spending a year on the throne.  The demise of Oba Olakulehin, born July 5, 1935, is coming barely two days after celebrating his 90th birthday.  Oba Olakulehin received the staff of office from Oyo State Governor Engr.
