In a warm display of camaraderie and political family spirit, the Special Assistant to Governor Seyi Makinde on Ibadan North Federal Constituency, Hon. Julian Arike Nwachukwu, has joined the good people of Ward 5, Ibadan North Local Government, to celebrate the birthday of the PDP Ward 5 Chairman, Hon. Tunde Okanlawon Oluwasemilore.

Hon. Julian Nwachukwu, who also hails from the same ward, described the celebrant as “a dynamic grassroots leader whose dedication to the progress of our great party remains commendable.”


In her heartfelt message, she said:

“Today, I celebrate a Chairman whose humility, commitment, and consistency have become such a glad tiding to many of us within the PDP family. Hon. Tunde is not just a chairman; he is a team player, a bridge-builder, and a man with genuine passion for people and progress.”

The Governor’s aide further applauded his steady leadership style, describing him as one of the strong pillars sustaining the unity and growth of the party in Ward 5 and beyond.

“As a fellow Ward 5 member, I’m proud to identify with a chairman who continues to give his all in ensuring that the PDP remains the party of the people at the grassroots. His dedication to Governor Seyi Makinde’s vision of inclusive governance is worthy of emulation.”

Hon. Julian prayed that God continues to bless Hon. Tunde Okanlawon with wisdom, health, and strength to keep serving both the party and the community with passion and integrity.

“On behalf of my team and the good people of Ibadan North Federal Constituency, I wish you a joyful birthday celebration and a fruitful year ahead. You truly deserve to be celebrated today and always,” she concluded.

The foremost monarch, who ascended the throne in July 2024, died in the early hours of Monday, July 7, 2025, after spending a year on the throne.  The demise of Oba Olakulehin, born July 5, 1935, is coming barely two days after celebrating his 90th birthday.  Oba Olakulehin received the staff of office from Oyo State Governor Engr.
