Birthday: Hon. SOJ Celebrates Federal Lawmaker, Hon. Folajimi Oyekunle Don

An astute Stalwart of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Ibadan North Local Government and recipient of the 2025 Champion of Ibadan Culture Award from the Central Council of Ibadan Indigenes (CCII), Hon. Olusoji Olusegun Alade, popularly known as Hon. SOJ, has extended warm birthday wishes to the distinguished Member representing Ibadan North Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Folajimi Oyekunle Sunday (DON).

In a goodwill message personally signed by him, Hon. SOJ described Hon. Don as a focused leader who continues to demonstrate excellence in nation building and grassroots engagement.

The statement reads:

Just In: (Pictorial) Tragedy Strikes Ibadan || Police Stray Bullet Claims Life of 17-Year-Old Student Published by Samuel Toba-Olumide   Ibadan, Oyo State - A somber mood has engulfed the Alakia-Welfare-Airport Ibadan community following a tragic incident on Airport Road, Alakia, where a 17-year-old student lost his life in a hail of bullets fired by police officers. According to eyewitnesses, the incident occurred when a driver, allegedly passing through a one-way street, was pursued by police officers. In the ensuing chase, the officers opened fire, and a stray bullet struck another vehicle carrying the teenager, who was on his way to school to sit for a WAEC exam. The foremost monarch, who ascended the throne in July 2024, died in the early hours of Monday, July 7, 2025, after spending a year on the throne.  The demise of Oba Olakulehin, born July 5, 1935, is coming barely two days after celebrating his 90th birthday.  Oba Olakulehin received the staff of office from Oyo State Governor Engr.
