Femi Bantu, on Thursday, October 9, 2025, paid a memorable homecoming visit to his political base, Ward 3 of Ibadan North Local Government, on a Courtesy Visit.

The visit, which held at the PDP Ward 3 Meeting Centre, St. Paul’s Primary School, Oke-Aremo, Ibadan, attracted an impressive crowd of party faithful, stakeholders, and community leaders who turned out in their hundreds to celebrate one of their own.

In his remarks, Hon. Femi Bantu, a proud son of the soil, expressed heartfelt gratitude to his people for their unwavering loyalty and continuous support since his assumption of office. He described the occasion as both symbolic and emotional, saying it offered him the opportunity to reconnect with his roots and reaffirm his commitment to the ideals of service and accountability.

“As a son of the soil, I am proud to return home. Whatever success I have achieved in public office reflects the faith, prayers, and cooperation of my people. I thank you for standing by me and our great party, the PDP. I pray that everyone who remains steadfast will be rewarded in due time,” he said.

In a heartwarming show of generosity, Hon. Femi Bantu presented cash grants of ₦10,000 each to 27 beneficiaries, including ward executives, political stakeholders, and loyal party members. The gesture, which came as a surprise to attendees, was received with excitement and gratitude.

“This empowerment initiative will not stop here,” he assured. “It will continue periodically either monthly or once in two months, depending on time and resources, until every committed member of Ward 3 feels the impact of inclusive governance.”

The announcement drew spontaneous prayers and cheers from the crowd, with many describing the initiative as “the first of its kind in Ward 3 in recent times.”

Oluwaseun Olufade Onala, for his inclusive governance style and commitment to the welfare of the people.

He urged party members to remain steadfast in their faith in the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), assuring them that the state and the local government would continue to experience sustainable growth under the leadership of Makinde and Olufade.
