IBADAN NORTH LG: Ward 5 Councillor, Hon. Ajayi “Solution” Appreciates Olufade Over Borehole Project, Commends Development Strides

The Councillor representing Ward 5 in Ibadan North Local Government, Hon. Hammed Olamilekan Ajayi, popularly known as Solution, has extended heartfelt appreciation to the Executive Chairman of Ibadan North Local Government, Hon. Oluwaseun Olufade, for his unwavering commitment to grassroots development, particularly for the recent commissioning of a motorised borehole in Inu Koko area of the ward.

Speaking on behalf of the leaders, party executives, and the good people of Ward 5, Hon. Ajayi described the project as a timely and impactful intervention that will significantly ease the burden of water scarcity in the community. He noted that the addition of a generating set to power the facility reflects the chairman’s thoughtful and people-oriented leadership style.

According to him, "We are indeed grateful to our indefatigable Executive Chairman, Hon. Oluwaseun Olufade, for yet another laudable project in Ward 5. This borehole project at Inu Koko is not just a fulfilment of promise, but a clear demonstration of his commitment to improving the living conditions of our people. The provision of a generator alongside the facility further shows his dedication to sustainability and functionality."

Hon. Ajayi emphasized that the borehole project adds to a growing list of developmental strides executed by the Olufade-led administration in Ward 5 since assuming office less than two years ago. He described the chairman’s impact across the local government as "unprecedented," noting that residents of Ward 5 have continued to benefit from purposeful governance and responsive leadership.

The councillor also acknowledged the presence and support of key stakeholders at the commissioning, including leaders of the ward, party faithful, and the PDP Ward 5 Chairman, Comrade Tunde Okanlawon, whose roles he said contributed immensely to the success of the project.

He assured the Executive Chairman of the continued support and cooperation of Ward 5 residents, pledging that the community would take ownership of the facility and ensure its proper maintenance for long-term use.

Hon. Ajayi concluded by praying for more strength and wisdom for Hon. Olufade as he continues to deliver the dividends of democracy to the people of Ibadan North Local Government.
