A Stalwart of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ibadan North Local Government and an aspirant for Ibadan North Constituency II at the Oyo State House of Assembly, Hon. Yisah Mohammed Bright, has extended warm felicitations to the Women Leader of Ward 9, Mrs. Olufunke Sunmonu, in recognition of her unwavering dedication to the party and her exemplary leadership.

In a statement made available to the public, Hon. Bright described Mrs. Sunmonu as "a committed party loyalist and a true pillar of strength within Ward 9," noting that her passion and consistency have continued to inspire both old and new members of the PDP.

"Mrs. Olufunke Sunmonu is not just a leader in name but in action. She is a great lover of our party and a dyed-in-the-wool supporter of His Excellency, Governor Seyi Makinde. Her loyalty and belief in the ideals of the PDP have remained steadfast over the years," he stated.

Hon. Bright further commended her for the progressive role she has played since assuming office as the Women Leader of Ward 9. According to him, her inclusive leadership style and dedication have significantly strengthened the women’s wing of the party in the ward.

"Since becoming the Women Leader, she has taken the women under her wings in a most progressive manner: empowering, uniting, and mobilizing them for the continued growth of our great party in the Ward. Her impact is both visible and commendable," he added.

While celebrating her, the aspirant prayed for continued strength, sound health, and greater accomplishments in her life and political journey.

"I join family, friends, and the entire PDP family in Ward 9 to wish her many more years in good health, happiness, and fulfillment. May her efforts continue to yield greater results for the party and the people," Hon. Bright concluded.
