Residents and community stakeholders within Aare Latosa Local Council Development Area (LCDA) have applauded the Political Head of the council, Hon. Ayoade Akeem, for executing several impactful infrastructural projects aimed at improving the living conditions of the people at the grassroots.

The commendation followed the completion and ongoing execution of various community-based projects across different wards and communities within the LCDA, particularly in the area of water supply and public infrastructure rehabilitation.

Among the projects executed by the administration is the repair of a deep well in the Inalende Community, a development resident described as timely and beneficial, especially in addressing water challenges confronting the area.

Similarly, the administration carried out the renovation of another deep well at Oke Oloro Ward 2, including the installation of concrete rings and rendering works to ensure durability and improved sanitation around the facility.

In a move aimed at strengthening operational efficiency within the council, the LCDA also procured four new tyres and accessories for its grader, a development expected to enhance road maintenance and other public works operations within the council area.

The administration further renovated a borehole and purchased a new submersible pump for the borehole serving residents of Alamuyo Community in Bodija, Ibadan, thereby restoring access to potable water for households in the area.

At Agbowo Community, specifically at Ile-Baale, another borehole project was rehabilitated through repairs and the installation of a new submersible pump to improve water distribution and ensure uninterrupted supply for residents.

In addition, the borehole facility located within the Aare Latosa LCDA Secretariat also received attention through repairs and the procurement of a new submersible pump as part of efforts to improve water accessibility within the council premises.

Community leaders and beneficiaries who spoke on the projects commended Ayoade Akeem for prioritizing people-oriented programmes and infrastructural renewal, noting that the interventions have positively impacted residents across several communities.

They urged the council leadership to sustain the tempo of development and continue initiating projects capable of improving the welfare and standard of living of the people at the grassroots.
