Ibadan North Local Government Signs MOU With IITA On Food Safety Initiative Published by Samuel Toba-Olumide In a strategic move to enhance food safety awareness and combat foodborne diseases, the Ibadan North Local Government has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the International Institute of Tropical Agriculture (IITA). The signing took place yesterday at the council’s secretariat in Agodi, Ibadan, with key stakeholders from both parties in attendance. The Executive Chairman of Ibadan North Local Government, Hon. Oluwaseun Olufade, signed the agreement on behalf of the council, while Mrs. Modupe Banwo, Project Manager of Food Safety for Africa at IITA, and Dr. Titilayo D.O. Falade, Project Coordinator and Food Safety Scientist for IITA, represented the institute.
