A Stalwart of the People's Democratic Party, PDP in Ibadan North Local Government, Hon. Olusoji Olusegun Alade popularly known as SOJ has felicitated the Entire Muslim UMMAH in Oyo State and the World Over on the occasion of this year's Eid-El-Kabir celebrations.

His Message Read in Part:

"I use this medium to greet my Muslim brothers and Sisters on the monumental occasion of the Eid Kabir. We say 'Thank You' to the Almighty Allah (SWT) for granting us the opportunity to witness this year's celebrations.

"I fervently pray that this year's Celebrations will not be the last of its kind for us in the land of the living. We also remember our brethren who are away on pilgrimage, may they return safely to us and we have a joyous reunion Insha Allah Bikudiraditullah.

"Thank You and Have a Pleasant Celebration".

Just In: (Pictorial) Tragedy Strikes Ibadan || Police Stray Bullet Claims Life of 17-Year-Old Student Published by Samuel Toba-Olumide   Ibadan, Oyo State - A somber mood has engulfed the Alakia-Welfare-Airport Ibadan community following a tragic incident on Airport Road, Alakia, where a 17-year-old student lost his life in a hail of bullets fired by police officers. According to eyewitnesses, the incident occurred when a driver, allegedly passing through a one-way street, was pursued by police officers. In the ensuing chase, the officers opened fire, and a stray bullet struck another vehicle carrying the teenager, who was on his way to school to sit for a WAEC exam. Breaking: Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Olakulehin is Dead Published by Samuel Toba-Olumide   The Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Owolabi Olakulehin, has reportedly joined his ancestors. The foremost monarch, who ascended the throne in July 2024, died in the early hours of Monday, July 7, 2025, after spending a year on the throne.  The demise of Oba Olakulehin, born July 5, 1935, is coming barely two days after celebrating his 90th birthday.  Oba Olakulehin received the staff of office from Oyo State Governor Engr.
