It is with great honor and pride that I stand before you today at the commissioning of the Agodi-Gate, Civic Centre, and Idi-Ape Junction Improvement Works. This momentous occasion marks a significant milestone in the development of our beloved city and the enhancement of our infrastructure.

The completion of these improvement works signifies a commitment to progress, prosperity, and the well-being of our community. The Agodi-Gate area, the Civic Centre, and the Idi-Ape Junction are pivotal locations that serve as gateways to our city and centers of activity for residents and visitors alike.

Through meticulous planning, collaboration, and investment, His Excellency, Engr Oluwaseyi Abiodun Makinde has transformed these areas into modern, functional, and aesthetically pleasing spaces that reflect the vibrant spirit and potential of Ibadan North. The upgraded road networks, pedestrian facilities, landscaping, and amenities will not only enhance mobility and connectivity but also elevate the quality of life for our residents.

Moreover, these improvement works align with our vision for sustainable urban development, promoting safety, accessibility, and inclusivity for all members of our community. By investing in our infrastructure, we are laying the foundation for future generations to thrive and prosper in Ibadan North.

I commend the dedication and hard work of all stakeholders involved in making this project a reality, starting with the Commissioner for Works, Prof. Daud Sangodoyin, Ministry of Works, other government agencies, contractors, engineers, and community members. Your collective efforts have brought us to this moment of celebration and achievement.

As we celebrate the commissioning of these improvement works, let us also reaffirm our commitment to responsible governance, accountability, and continuous improvement. Together, let us strive to build upon this success and create an even brighter future for Ibadan North.
