The Olubadan of Ibadan land, His Imperial Majesty, Oba Owolabi Akinloye Olakulehin, will on Monday, 12th August, 2024, coronate the Otun Olubadan of Ibadanland, High Chief Rashidi Adewolu Ladoja.

The prestigious ceremony is scheduled to take place at the new Olubadan Palace, sited at Oke Aremo, Ibadan.

This historic event marks a significant moment in the annals of Ibadanland, as High Chief Ladoja, a revered figure in the community and former Governor of Oyo State, is set to be bestowed with this honor.

News filtered in last week Sunday 4th of August when it was reported that LADOJA, Read here: LADOJA ACCEPTS BEADED CROWN , who is the highest ranked High Chief in the Olubadan in Council, has agreed to be crowned just like his fellow High Chiefs were crowned by the immediate past Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Dr. Mohood Olalekan Balogun Alli-Okunmade

The entire Ibadanland is expected to be agog with celebrations as dignitaries, traditional rulers, and well-wishers from across the country converge on the ancient city to witness the coronation.
