Hon. Raheem Olaide Sakiru, the Supervisor on Education to the Executive Chairman of Ibadan North Local Government, Hon. Oluwaseun Olufade has paid a glowing tribute to former Deputy Governor of Oyo State, His Excellency, Barr. Hazeem Gbolarumi on the occasion of his birthday.

Notably, Barr. Gbolarumi is a respected chieftain of the People's Democratic Party (PDP) in Oyo State and Nigeria as a whole. His insightful leadership on state and national issues, reflects his deep understanding of the complexities of Nigerian politics.

In his birthday message, Hon. Sakiru described the celebrant as a "Father, Mentor and Leader" who is a distinguished leader and Statesman.


The message read below:


"As we celebrate the birthday of a distinguished leader and statesman, Barr. Hazeem Gbolarumi, former Deputy Governor of Oyo State, I am honored to pay tribute to this exemplary individual.

"Barr. Gbolarumi is a father, mentor, and benefactor to many, including myself. His selfless leadership, wisdom, and guidance have been a beacon of hope and inspiration to numerous protégés and mentees. His unwavering commitment to the development of Oyo State and its people is a testament to his remarkable character.

"As a seasoned administrator and politician, Barr. Gbolarumi has demonstrated exceptional vision, integrity, and dedication to public service. His contributions to the growth and progress of Oyo State are immeasurable, and his legacy continues to inspire and motivate future generations." He opined
