BACK TO SCHOOL: "A New Term, A New Opportunity: Embracing Excellence in Education" || IBNLG Vice, Hon. Akeem Ayoade Extols returning students || Appreciates Gov. Makinde & Hon. Olufade for Prioritizing Education

The Vice Chairman of Ibadan North Local Government and Political Head, Are-Latosa LCDA, Hon. Akeem Adewale Ayoade, extends a warm welcome to all students returning to primary and secondary schools in Ibadan North Local Government and Oyo State.


In his message, Hon. Ayoade emphasized the importance of education, saying, "As we begin this new term, I urge all students to focus on their studies and strive for academic excellence. Education is the key to unlocking your potential and shaping your future."


Hon. Ayoade also cautioned students against the dangers of bad company, stating, "Evil communication corrupts good manners. I implore you all to avoid joining bad gangs and instead surround yourselves with positive influences that will inspire and motivate you to achieve your goals."


The Vice Chairman expressed his appreciation to the leadership of Gov. Seyi Makinde for prioritizing education in Oyo State. "I wish to commend His Excellency, Gov. Seyi Makinde, for placing education at the forefront of his government. This commitment to education will undoubtedly yield dividends in the years to come," Hon. Ayoade said.


He also thanked his immediate boss, Hon. Oluwaseun Olufade, the Executive Chairman of Ibadan North Local Government Council, for following the blueprint of Governor Seyi Makinde. "I appreciate the leadership of Hon. Oluwaseun Olufade for aligning with the vision of Gov. Seyi Makinde to improve education in Ibadan North Local Government. This synergy will surely bring about positive change," Hon. Ayoade noted.


In addition, Hon. Ayoade offered words of prayer for parents and students alike. "I pray that God blesses all parents with the resources needed to support their children's education. May our students be guided by wisdom, diligence, and determination as they embark on this new term. May God grant you all success and prosperity," he prayed.


 "As we begin this new term, let us resolve to make the most of this opportunity. Let us work hard, stay focused, and strive for excellence. I have no doubt that with dedication and perseverance, we can achieve great things and build a brighter future for ourselves and our community." He concluded.

According to eyewitnesses, the incident occurred when a driver, allegedly passing through a one-way street, was pursued by police officers. The foremost monarch, who ascended the throne in July 2024, died in the early hours of Monday, July 7, 2025, after spending a year on the throne.  The demise of Oba Olakulehin, born July 5, 1935, is coming barely two days after celebrating his 90th birthday.  Oba Olakulehin received the staff of office from Oyo State Governor Engr.
