The Executive Chairman of Ibadan North Local Government, Hon. Oluwaseun Olufade, has extended warm Easter greetings to the people of Ibadan North, Oyo State, and Nigeria at large, urging citizens to embrace the message of hope, unity, and love that the season represents.

In a goodwill message released through his head of media, Aderibigbe Yisahu, Hon. Olufade emphasized the significance of Easter as a symbol of renewal, sacrifice, and triumph.

He called on Nigerians to reflect on the selfless love demonstrated by Jesus Christ through His resurrection, and to imbibe values that promote peace, compassion, and collective progress.

“As we celebrate the resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ, I extend my heartfelt wishes for peace, love, and unity to all our citizens,” he said.

“This season reminds us of the triumph of life over death, hope over despair, and good over evil.”

Hon. Olufade urged the people of Ibadan North and Nigerians across the nation to use the opportunity of the Easter celebration to foster togetherness and confront the challenges facing the country with courage and faith.

“Let this Easter awaken in us the courage to face challenges together and the spirit of togetherness that binds us as one people.

May we as a people embrace the values of sacrifice, compassion, and renewed faith in a better Nigeria,” he added.

The council boss concluded his message by wishing the people of Ibadan North, Oyo State, and Nigerians at large a joyful and blessed Easter celebration.
