Six Years Of Transformative & People-Centric Leadership: Hon. Julian Congratulates her boss, Gov. Makinde

As Governor Seyi Makinde marks his sixth year in office, Hon. Julian Areke Nwachukwu, Special Assistant to the Governor on Ibadan North Federal Constituency, has extended warm congratulations to the governor for his unprecedented achievements. According to Hon. Julian, "Gov. Makinde's people-centric approach to governance has been a game-changer for Oyo State, empowering citizens and transforming the state's landscape."

Hon. Julian noted that Gov. Makinde's leadership style is distinct, saying, "Unlike some leaders who focus on microscopic few, Gov. Makinde's vision is broad and inclusive, reaching the grassroots and making a real difference in people's lives." She commended the Governor's commitment to infrastructural development, education, security, and prompt payment of salaries, which has never wavered since he took office.

"Gov. Makinde's achievements are a testament to his dedication to putting the people first," Hon. Julian said. "From infrastructure development to education and security, the governor has shown that he is a true leader who understands the needs of his people." She congratulated Gov. Makinde on his sixth year in office, saying, "You have put Oyo State on the world map for good, and we are grateful for your leadership."

Hon. Julian's message is a reflection of the governor's impact on the state, and his people-centric approach has earned him the admiration of many. As Gov. Makinde looks to the future, Hon. Julian prayed that God would continue to bless and guide him.

Finally, she congratulated him and wished him well for the rest of the tenure and beyond.

According to eyewitnesses, the incident occurred when a driver, allegedly passing through a one-way street, was pursued by police officers. In the ensuing chase, the officers opened fire, and a stray bullet struck another vehicle carrying the teenager, who was on his way to school to sit for a WAEC exam. The foremost monarch, who ascended the throne in July 2024, died in the early hours of Monday, July 7, 2025, after spending a year on the throne.  The demise of Oba Olakulehin, born July 5, 1935, is coming barely two days after celebrating his 90th birthday.  Oba Olakulehin received the staff of office from Oyo State Governor Engr.
