Eid-el-Adha: Hon. Yisah Muhammed Bright felicitates Muslim Ummah on Eid Mubarak

As the whole world celebrates the 2025 Eid-el-Kabir, Hon. Yisah Mohammed Bright, a Stalwart of the People's Democratic Party in Ward 9, Ibadan North Local Government, extends warm greetings to all Muslims in the Ward and Ibadan North Local Government. This auspicious occasion is a time for spiritual reflection, gratitude, and joy, reminding us of the importance of faith and unity in our community.

"Eid-el-Kabir is a celebration of obedience, sacrifice, and devotion to our faith," Hon. Yisah Mohammed Bright said. "As we commemorate Prophet Ibrahim's unwavering commitment to Allah's will, we are reminded of the importance of standing firm in our convictions and values."

Just In: (Pictorial) Tragedy Strikes Ibadan || Police Stray Bullet Claims Life of 17-Year-Old Student Published by Samuel Toba-Olumide   Ibadan, Oyo State - A somber mood has engulfed the Alakia-Welfare-Airport Ibadan community following a tragic incident on Airport Road, Alakia, where a 17-year-old student lost his life in a hail of bullets fired by police officers. According to eyewitnesses, the incident occurred when a driver, allegedly passing through a one-way street, was pursued by police officers. In the ensuing chase, the officers opened fire, and a stray bullet struck another vehicle carrying the teenager, who was on his way to school to sit for a WAEC exam. The foremost monarch, who ascended the throne in July 2024, died in the early hours of Monday, July 7, 2025, after spending a year on the throne.  The demise of Oba Olakulehin, born July 5, 1935, is coming barely two days after celebrating his 90th birthday.  Oba Olakulehin received the staff of office from Oyo State Governor Engr.
