Gov. Makinde's Aide, Hon. Julian Nwachukwu Felicitates Ibadan North Lawmakers (OlutunuDe & Jagaban on Outstanding Service

Hon. Julian Arike Nwachukwu, the Special Assistant to Governor Seyi Makinde on Ibadan North Federal Constituency who also is the PDP Women Leader, Ibadan North Local Government, has extended warm felicitations to Hon. Dr. Olufunke Comforter Adeniyi-Olajide and Hon. Adebayo Babajide Gabriel Jagaban, the dynamic duo representing Ibadan North Constituency 1 and 2, respectively, in the Oyo State House of Assembly.

According to Hon. Julian, "Hon. Comforter and Hon. Babajide Gabriel have demonstrated remarkable dedication and commitment to the people of Ibadan North Local Government. Their tireless efforts to push bills, facilitate empowerment projects, and create jobs have not gone unnoticed. They have truly set a high standard for public service, and their constituents are better off for it."

Hon. Julian praised their collaborative approach, saying, "Their ability to work together seamlessly has yielded tremendous benefits for the people of Ibadan North. They are a shining example of what it means to put the needs of the people first."

As they continue to serve the good people of Ibadan North, Hon. Julian wishes them more years of success, fulfillment, and divine favor. "May God continue to guide and strengthen them as they navigate the complexities of public service. May their efforts yield tangible results, and may they remain committed to the welfare of their constituents."

Hon. Olufunke Comforter Adeniyi-Olajide is celebrating 2 exemplary years as a Member of the 10th Oyo Assembly while Hon. Babajide Jagaban, a ranking Member of the House of Assembly is celebrating 6 years as a member of the 9th and 10th Oyo Assemblies.

We join Hon. Julian in congratulating Hon. Dr. Comforter and Hon. Babajide Gabriel on their outstanding service to Ibadan North. Their dedication to public service is an inspiration to us all.

Just In: (Pictorial) Tragedy Strikes Ibadan || Police Stray Bullet Claims Life of 17-Year-Old Student Published by Samuel Toba-Olumide   Ibadan, Oyo State - A somber mood has engulfed the Alakia-Welfare-Airport Ibadan community following a tragic incident on Airport Road, Alakia, where a 17-year-old student lost his life in a hail of bullets fired by police officers. According to eyewitnesses, the incident occurred when a driver, allegedly passing through a one-way street, was pursued by police officers. In the ensuing chase, the officers opened fire, and a stray bullet struck another vehicle carrying the teenager, who was on his way to school to sit for a WAEC exam. The foremost monarch, who ascended the throne in July 2024, died in the early hours of Monday, July 7, 2025, after spending a year on the throne.  The demise of Oba Olakulehin, born July 5, 1935, is coming barely two days after celebrating his 90th birthday.  Oba Olakulehin received the staff of office from Oyo State Governor Engr.
