On this momentous occasion, I, Hon. Julian Àríké Nwachukwu, Special Assistant to the Oyo State Governor on Ibadan North Federal Constituency, extend warm felicitations to all Nigerians as we commemorate 26 years of uninterrupted democracy. To the good people of Ibadan North Federal Constituency, I extend special congratulations. You deserve all the good things in life, and as your representative, I pledge to work tirelessly with other top officials, including our local government chairman, Hon. Oluwaseun Olufade Onala, and our two Elected State Honourables, Hon. Olufunke Comforter Olajide and Hon. Adebayo Babajide Gabriel, and all other top State Officials from our dear Local Government, to ensure that you reap the dividends of democracy.

Just In: (Pictorial) Tragedy Strikes Ibadan || Police Stray Bullet Claims Life of 17-Year-Old Student Published by Samuel Toba-Olumide   Ibadan, Oyo State - A somber mood has engulfed the Alakia-Welfare-Airport Ibadan community following a tragic incident on Airport Road, Alakia, where a 17-year-old student lost his life in a hail of bullets fired by police officers. According to eyewitnesses, the incident occurred when a driver, allegedly passing through a one-way street, was pursued by police officers. In the ensuing chase, the officers opened fire, and a stray bullet struck another vehicle carrying the teenager, who was on his way to school to sit for a WAEC exam. The foremost monarch, who ascended the throne in July 2024, died in the early hours of Monday, July 7, 2025, after spending a year on the throne.  The demise of Oba Olakulehin, born July 5, 1935, is coming barely two days after celebrating his 90th birthday.  Oba Olakulehin received the staff of office from Oyo State Governor Engr.
