Massive Project Commissioning: Hon. Bright Commends Hon. Onala's Quality Leadership

The Executive Chairman of Ibadan North Local Government, Hon. Oluwaseun Olufade Onala, has commissioned a record-breaking six motorized boreholes. Hon. Yisah Muhammad Bright, a stakeholder and PDP member from Ward 9 of the Local Government, has commended the Chairman for his quality leadership.

"This project couldn't have come at a better time, when people need it most," Hon. Bright said. "We appreciate your efforts in ensuring that our wards have access to clean water. This is a remarkable achievement, and we pray for your success in office."

The commissioned motorized boreholes will serve Wards 1, 2, 8, 9, 11 and 12. Hon. Bright expressed gratitude to Hon. Onala, saying, "Things have been good for the good people of Ibadan North since you became Chairman."

The people of Ward 9, in particular, are grateful for the Chairman's vision. "We pray for your success in office, and we believe that more good things will come our way," Hon. Bright added.

The commissioning of the motorized boreholes demonstrates Hon. Onala's commitment to development and improving residents' lives. Hon. Bright's commendation is a testament to the Chairman's effective leadership.

Just In: (Pictorial) Tragedy Strikes Ibadan || Police Stray Bullet Claims Life of 17-Year-Old Student Published by Samuel Toba-Olumide   Ibadan, Oyo State - A somber mood has engulfed the Alakia-Welfare-Airport Ibadan community following a tragic incident on Airport Road, Alakia, where a 17-year-old student lost his life in a hail of bullets fired by police officers. According to eyewitnesses, the incident occurred when a driver, allegedly passing through a one-way street, was pursued by police officers. The foremost monarch, who ascended the throne in July 2024, died in the early hours of Monday, July 7, 2025, after spending a year on the throne.  The demise of Oba Olakulehin, born July 5, 1935, is coming barely two days after celebrating his 90th birthday.  Oba Olakulehin received the staff of office from Oyo State Governor Engr.
