"We are proud of our Lawmakers" || Hon. SOJ Lauds Ibadan North Lawmakers, Hon. Comforter & Hon. Babajide

Hon. Olusoji Olusegun Alade, affectionately known as Hon. SOJ, has commended Hon. Dr. Olufunke Comforter Adeniyi-Olajide and Hon. Babajide Gabriel, popularly known as Jagaban, for their outstanding representation of Ibadan North Constituency 1 and 2, respectively.

Hon. SOJ described the duo as exemplary representatives of the local government, highlighting their impressive achievements during the OmiTuntun 2.0 administration. "Their efforts have had a profoundly positive impact on the good people of Ibadan North Constituencies 1 and 2, echoing the benevolent initiatives of His Excellency, Gov. Seyi Makinde," he said.

He also praised the lawmakers' effective collaboration with Hon. Oluwaseun Olufade ONALA, noting that this synergy has elevated Ibadan North Local Government to remarkable heights. "Their combined efforts have yielded significant benefits for the local government, demonstrating a deep understanding of the needs and aspirations of their constituents," Hon. SOJ added.

As Hon. SOJ reflected on the lawmakers' tenure, he emphasized that they are good representatives of our dear Local Government. "Their exploits over the past 2 years of OmiTuntun 2.0 administration have been felt positively amongst the Good people of Ibadan North Constituencies 1 and 2. They repeat the good works of His Excellency, Gov. Seyi Makinde to their respective constituents," he noted.

Hon. SOJ concluded by wishing the lawmakers more fruitful years in service to the people. "May God continue to guide and strengthen them as they navigate the complexities of public service. May their efforts yield tangible results, and may they remain committed to the welfare of their constituents," he said.

In conclusion, Hon. SOJ's commendation of Hon. Dr. Comforter and Hon. Babajide Gabriel serves as a testament to their dedication and commitment to the people of Ibadan North. Their outstanding service is a shining example of what it means to truly serve with purpose and passion.

According to eyewitnesses, the incident occurred when a driver, allegedly passing through a one-way street, was pursued by police officers. The foremost monarch, who ascended the throne in July 2024, died in the early hours of Monday, July 7, 2025, after spending a year on the throne.  The demise of Oba Olakulehin, born July 5, 1935, is coming barely two days after celebrating his 90th birthday.  Oba Olakulehin received the staff of office from Oyo State Governor Engr.
