The Special Assistant to His Excellency, Governor Seyi Makinde, on Ibadan North Federal Constituency Matters, Hon. Julian Arike Nwachukwu, has extended heartfelt birthday wishes to prominent Ibadan businessman, socialite, and politician, Hon. Atilola Olalekan, popularly known as Olacash, as he marks another year.

In a goodwill message released through her media office, Hon. Julian described the celebrant as a compassionate individual, deeply committed to the welfare of his people and a respected figure within the community.

"Happy birthday to my dear brother, Omo Iya Mi, Eje Mi Gangan, Hon. Olamilekan Alabi Ọmọ Atilola, fondly known as Olacash; a true gentleman, deeply loved by his people and a man of integrity who understands the needs of his community," she said.

"As you celebrate this special day, I pray that life blesses you with the finest things it has to offer. May all your heart’s desires come to fruition, and may you enjoy many more years in good health, abundant wealth, and happiness."

Just In: (Pictorial) Tragedy Strikes Ibadan || Police Stray Bullet Claims Life of 17-Year-Old Student Published by Samuel Toba-Olumide   Ibadan, Oyo State - A somber mood has engulfed the Alakia-Welfare-Airport Ibadan community following a tragic incident on Airport Road, Alakia, where a 17-year-old student lost his life in a hail of bullets fired by police officers. According to eyewitnesses, the incident occurred when a driver, allegedly passing through a one-way street, was pursued by police officers. In the ensuing chase, the officers opened fire, and a stray bullet struck another vehicle carrying the teenager, who was on his way to school to sit for a WAEC exam. The foremost monarch, who ascended the throne in July 2024, died in the early hours of Monday, July 7, 2025, after spending a year on the throne.  The demise of Oba Olakulehin, born July 5, 1935, is coming barely two days after celebrating his 90th birthday.  Oba Olakulehin received the staff of office from Oyo State Governor Engr.
