Ibadan businessman and prominent stakeholder of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Ibadan North Local Government, Hon. Olusoji Alade (SOJ), the Champion of Ibadan Culture, has extended warm felicitations to the Personal Assistant to Governor Seyi Makinde, Alhaji Akeem Azeez, on the occasion of his birthday.

In his message, Hon. SOJ described the celebrant; whom he fondly refers to as leader and personal person, as humble, disciplined, focused, and loyal to the core. He further praised the Executive P.A as a beacon of hope to younger generations aspiring to serve in government, noting that such qualities have rightly earned him a place among the respected echelons of leadership in Oyo State and beyond.

Praying for the celebrant, Hon. SOJ wished Alhaji Akeem Azeez many more fruitful years in the land of the living, blessed with good health, prosperity, and greater accomplishments.

In the same spirit, Hon. SOJ, who also serves as the Social Secretary of Omo Aj’Orosun Club, felicitated with the Executive Chairman of Lagelu Local Government, Hon. Kamorudeen Mudashir (Senator), who also marks his birthday today. He described the Council Boss as a dynamic leader whose sterling performance has consistently proven that true leadership is not a function of age but of vision and results.

Hon. SOJ joyfully celebrated both distinguished leaders, commending their remarkable contributions to governance and development in Oyo State.

Just In: (Pictorial) Tragedy Strikes Ibadan || Police Stray Bullet Claims Life of 17-Year-Old Student Published by Samuel Toba-Olumide   Ibadan, Oyo State - A somber mood has engulfed the Alakia-Welfare-Airport Ibadan community following a tragic incident on Airport Road, Alakia, where a 17-year-old student lost his life in a hail of bullets fired by police officers. According to eyewitnesses, the incident occurred when a driver, allegedly passing through a one-way street, was pursued by police officers. In the ensuing chase, the officers opened fire, and a stray bullet struck another vehicle carrying the teenager, who was on his way to school to sit for a WAEC exam. The foremost monarch, who ascended the throne in July 2024, died in the early hours of Monday, July 7, 2025, after spending a year on the throne.  The demise of Oba Olakulehin, born July 5, 1935, is coming barely two days after celebrating his 90th birthday.  Oba Olakulehin received the staff of office from Oyo State Governor Engr.
