Birthday: Hon. Soji Alade SOJ Felicitates Gov. Makinde's Senior Special Assistant, Hon. RAD

The 2025 Champion of Ibadan Culture, Hon. Olusoji Olusegun Alade, fondly called Hon. SOJ, has joined a plethora of well-wishers to celebrate the birthday of a brilliant Senior Special Assistant on Local Government and Chieftaincy Matters to the Oyo State Governor, Hon. Ramata Agberemi Dabo (Hon. RAD), on the occasion of her birthday.


Hon. Alade, a stalwart of the People's Democratic Party (PDP) in Ibadan North Local Government and the Social Secretary of Omo Aj'Orosun Club, described Hon. Dabo as “a visionary leader, an exceptional mind, and one of the many who mirror the good works of His Excellency, Governor Seyi Makinde, through dedication and excellent performance in their given portfolios.”


Speaking further, Hon. Alade lauded her resilience and astuteness in championing initiatives that uplift women and promote cultural heritage in Ibadanland. He said:



“Hon. RAD is not just a political figure; she is a beacon of hope for many young women. Her ‘She Leads’ Programme, which she organizes every August, continues to inspire and empower the female demography in Oyo State. Beyond governance, she upholds our rich Ibadan cultural heritage with pride and dignity. For this, we are all proud of her.”

In his heartfelt prayers for the celebrant, Hon. Alade said:

“On this special day, I pray that God blesses Hon. Ramata Agberemi Dabo with sound health, uncommon wisdom, and greater heights in all her endeavors. May her path continue to shine brighter, and may she never lack the strength and favor to keep serving humanity and our dear state.”

He concluded by reaffirming his admiration for her exceptional contributions:

“Hon. RAD represents excellence, loyalty, and service. We celebrate you today and always. Happy birthday, and may your new age bring unending joy and success.”

According to eyewitnesses, the incident occurred when a driver, allegedly passing through a one-way street, was pursued by police officers. In the ensuing chase, the officers opened fire, and a stray bullet struck another vehicle carrying the teenager, who was on his way to school to sit for a WAEC exam. The foremost monarch, who ascended the throne in July 2024, died in the early hours of Monday, July 7, 2025, after spending a year on the throne.  The demise of Oba Olakulehin, born July 5, 1935, is coming barely two days after celebrating his 90th birthday.  Oba Olakulehin received the staff of office from Oyo State Governor Engr.
